Transformers: Timelines
In the Shattered Glass reality, the Dinoforce were known-with the addition of Slugfest and Overkill-as the Dinocons, having been created by Wheeljack alongside the Dinobots only to go renegade and be recruited by the Decepticons, who improved their programming to make them more manageable. Grimlock, having recently been granted his own Ember by the Omega Terminus, allowed his fellow dinosaur-based robots to do the same regardless of their allegiances; the Dinocons were thus granted life and the ability to transform.
Toys
The Dinforce were recolored from the Monster Pretenders, and thus Dinoking was a recolor of Monstructor.
