PERSONAL LIFE
Delilah Alvares was born in Al Sabah, Kuwait, the daughter of Mario Daniel Alvares and Late Debra Rodriguez (Biological Parents) As a child she was predominantly raised in Kuwait but grew up moving between Kuwait and Birmingham England [2]
After her father's second marriage, he gave up her custody and she was legally adopted by her deceased mother's sister- Judy Caleb, giving her a connection to India from where her career took flight [3] She later made a brief move to New York after the success of her debut fiction novel but eventually moved back to England
CAREER
ACTING
Alvares established herself in theater as an award-winning stage actress and play-writer, being a part of several stage dramas before actively moving into films and television. She became known after her role as Svetlana Rodrigues in the movie - Expect the Unexpected (2011) [4] But years later she made a return back to stage acting from screen acting.
MODELLING
After wining the title of ROCK's Calendar Model in 2012 [5] and making it to the top 13 finalists at the Femina Beauty Pageant in 2013 [6] she ventured completely into modeling. As a fashion model, her work stands out with renowned designers and photographers across various countries [7]
WRITING
Alvares is the author of the crime fiction novel The Maze: Dark Shadows published by Christopher Matthews Publishing, New York [8] She was noted as being among the youngest to have written in that genre at the time [9] She has also been the play writer on three full length plays - Four Wonders (2007), Ms. Brown (2007) and Murder Mystery (2007) [10]

Alvares has always made it to the news for the wrong reasons and is famously known for naively goofing it up in the public eye. She is also popularly known for fighting off an Anorexia controversy that had blown out of proportion on social media in 2013 [16]
