NSUT Nguyen Huong Giang (real name Nguyen Thi Huong Giang)was born and raised in a family with a tradition of making art in Quynh Luu - Nghe An (his uncle is a musician, Major General An Thuyen, his brother is An Phuc People's Artist). Currently, a Lecturer in the Vocal Department of the Military University of Culture and Arts, an adult from artistic practice and known as the "singer of the field". Huong Giang's voice has reached the soldiers in the border areas or remote islands, from the pompous capital to the poorest areas of the sacred southern pole. In addition to possessing a sweet and loving voice a "singer of the field" who is not afraid of hardships and matures from practice, outstanding artist Nguyen Huong Giang is also known as a talented artist when combining between modern vocal techniques and Vietnamese folk singing which she confirmed in her Masters thesis, as well as her latest research.

Biography and career

NSUT Nguyen Huong Giang soon pursued her ambition to become a singer with beautiful lyrics. At the age of 21, the Nghe girl, after graduating from the Military Art School, bravely volunteered to the far south to be a young singer of the Military Region 9 Art Troupe.

Huong Giang won the second prize of the Spring and Soldier Solo Competition organized by the General Department of Politics in 1998; 2 National Television Silver Medal for Musical Film by Radio TH Can Tho in the National Television Film Festival competition, Silver Medal at the 2003 All Quan Professional Music and Dance Festival...

And the most brilliant was the Gold Medal of the All Army Professional Arts Festival 2008 when Captain Nguyen Huong Giang performed very well the role of Sister Su in the musical "Two Mothers" by Major General - musician An Thuyen morning. It was staged and performed by the QK 9 Art Troupe. The play won 3 gold medals and 3 silver medals at the 2008 All Quan Professional Art Festival, including a gold medal for Huong Giang as a porcelain sister.
