Kumar Pereira (born 1949) is an Australian design teacher and television cooking contestant. He appeared in MasterChef Australia. His interest in food arose when he moved to London to study graphic design, and then to Hong Kong, where he stayed for nearly two decades and met his wife.  He is the first person of Sri Lankan descent to contest MasterChef Australia.
