An Islamist militant, Adil al-Sudani was executed by Egypt in 1998 for his part in a plot targeting the Khan-i-Khalili marketplace.[1]

In 1993, he had helped Ahmad Ibrahim al-Sayyid al-Naggar escape his prison sentence by ferrying him out of Egypt on a false passport to Amman.[1]
