Abu Nasir (died June 10, 2006) was an alleged terrorist killed in combat in Pakistani Waziristan on June 10, 2006.[1]

A June 11, 2006 article in Al Jazeera described Abu Nasir as "an insurgent commander", and said he was an Arab. It reported that twenty-two of the other men killed in the attack were Arabs, and that seven local Pakistani fighters and three Uzbeks.

Fahd Muhammed Abdullah Al Fouzan was in extrajudicial detention in the Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba, because he attended an "Abu Nasir military camp".[2]

Nazir has since inspired a fictional character and one of the main antagonists in the Homeland series (also called Abu Nazir) played by Navid Negahban.
