David Kelsey (born 04 August 1966) is an actor and producer, living in California, USA.[1]

Early Life

After graduating from U.C. Berkeley with a degree emphasizing in International Economics,[2] David moved to Los Angeles.

He got a huge break just 3 months after he arrived that landed him a coveted SAG card starring as the guy that becomes Dick Tracy in an MTV commercial with Warren Beatty, Al Pacino and Maddona, Steven Bochco then cast him in his first TV roll on NYPD Blue.

Shortly after that, he was cast as a series regular as the astrophysicist and astronaut in training, D.B. Woods on The Cape.[3][4]

Professional Career

David guest starred on award winning dramas including The Practice, The West Wing, House, 24, From The Earth To The Moon, The Mentalist,[5] Castle and Magnum Opus (2015)[6], Without A Trace and recurred on The Riches opposite Eddie Izzard to name a few.

He has appeared in numerous feature films including Cheaper By The Dozen and Frost/Nixon. After a hiatus to raise his family in Northern California, David has returned appearing in the Netflix hit by Ryan Murphy, Monster:

The Jeffrey Dahmer Story[7] opposite Richard Jenkins and Penelope Ann Miller.[8] He was just cast to star in the upcoming film Wrong Numbers, penned by Frederick Mensh (HBO’s Golden Globe and Emmy nominated film Nightingale).

In 2017, he was cast in a TV movie Forgotten Abduction.[9][10][11]

In 2022, he was also cast in the film Swipe NYC.[12][13][14]
