The College of Islamic and Arabic Studies in Afghanistan was an organization where American intelligence analysts with the Office for the Administrative Review of Detained Enemy Combatants report Guantanamo captive Abd Al Rahim Abdul Rassak Janko said he was held and tortured by the Taliban. Al Janko had traveled to Afghanistan in 2000, had enrolled in training, and had prepared a martyrdom video, before falling under suspicion that he was an Israeli or American spy.

The Summary of Evidence memo prepared for his second annual Administrative Review Board, in 2006, stated:

The detainee claimed that after eighteen days of training he requested he to leave the al Farouq Training Camp. After submitting this request, the detainee claimed that he was suspected of spying for the United States or Israel. The detainee stated that he was held for approximately two weeks at a guest house known as College of Islamic and Arabic Studies where he was interrogated and tortured.
