Castle Placement is an American boutique investment bank and a member of FINRA and SIPC. Founded in 2009, it raises equity and debt capital for private companies[1] in the range of $5million to $1billion through various products related to private placement, portfolio management, capital raising, financial planning, wealth management, investment banking, and advisory services. [2]

Castle Placement services include four primary products/services: CPGO Prime, CPGO Plus, CPGO Network and CPGO I-Bank. The products utilize a proprietary data-driven CRM technology platform which, with the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology, matches targeted investors with companies that intend to raise capital.[3][4]

Castle Placement has 64,500 investors, including institutional and private equity investors, venture capital and strategic investors, family offices, pension funds, etc. and approximately 322,668 companies from all industries registered on its database.[5][6]

History

Castle was founded by Richard Luftig and Ken Margolis in 2009. Mr. Luftig was formerly a Managing Director-Principal at Bear Stearns and a Director at Credit Suisse. [7] Castle Placement is headquartered in New York City with offices in Houston, Memphis, St. Louis, and Washington, DC. By 2019, the firm had 24 investment bankers specializing in various industries.

The firm has been a joint sponsor with WeWork and Amazon of Capital Madness, a capital raising bracket tournament.[8] [9] Castle Placement is currently promoting their fourth tournament, which is co-sponsored by USAEE.[10]

Since 2009, the firm has raised around several $billion in 81 transactions. Since 2017, Castle Placement has been named the exclusive placement agency for several prominent clients.[11][12][6][13][14][15][16][17]
