Synopsis

The film is about American dancer and actor Michael Chambers, also known as Boogaloo Shrimp, known for his role as "Turbo" in the 1984 cult movie Breakin' and its sequel Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo.[3]

The film narrates the story of Michael Chambers who started his career as a child star playing 'Turbo' in the movie Breakin with the 'broom' scene, and in Breakin' 2 with the bedroom scene, in which he dances on the walls and the ceiling.[3] As a teenager, he went on tour with Lionel Richie and appeared in his music video All Night Long.

In the 1980s, Chambers was featured in a documentary aired on television targeting Los Angeles' hip-hop culture such as 1983 documentary Breakin n' Enterin, played "Urklebot" on the TV Show Family Matters and hosted the TV Show Fun House.[3] When Michael Jackson saw the program, he invited chambers to his compound. They started working together on the moves.[4] Later on, Jackson offered him to work as an choreographer for the The Simpsons' Do the Bartman music video and MC Skat Cat in Paula Abdul's music video Opposites Attract.[4][3]

In the film, Michael Chambers reveals how it was like to work in Chaka Khan's I Feel For You and Stop the Madness.[3] He was also featured in the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon dancing with Jerry Lewis.
