Blast Rock is a fictional character from the Rock Lords series introduced in 1986. Although Blast Rock was released as a toy in 1986, he did not appear in fiction until 2016.

Note: In Fun Publications stories Blast Rock is portrayed mass produced drone used by both Boulder and Magmar's tribes.

Echoverse

Boulder's Blast Rock drones were featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots, Rock Lords and Starriors swapping places with characters during the events of that film. They were members of Boulder's tribe who aided the Autobots and Guardians when they crashed on Quartex.[1]

Magmar's Blast Rock drones appeared in the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric episode 65 story "Combiner Wars Part 2".[2]
