Battle Tanker is a fictional character made by Maketoys in 2011 as a third party Transformer. He is an homage to the Generation 2 Transformers Autobot Laser Optimus Prime toy. An unlicensed reproduction of the toy has been released.

The Battle Tanker armor is the second third party Transformer accessory created by Maketoys. He is an homage to the Generation 2 Transformers Autobot Laser Optimus Prime toy.
Development
Pictures of the box for Battle Tanker was released on the internet in October of 2011.[1]
Battle Tanker was released in November of 2011.
Reception
The WTF@TFW podcast for November 3rd, 2011 selected the a picture of the Battle Tanker box as one of the New Pic Picks.[2]

- Maketoys TFX-01 Battle Tanker (2008)
- A new mold meant to be added to the Reveal The Shield Optimus Prime toy, although it fits on any toy that shares his mold. Turns from a trailer in vehicle mode to a set of armor and a large gun in robot mode.
- This toy was remolded and recolored into Shadow Commander, Powered Commander and D.I.A. Commander.
- Reprolabels Classics Battle Tanker
- A set of labels meant to make Battle Tanker looks more like the Generation 2 Laser Optimus Prime toy.[3]
