Early Life
Adrian Thomas-Townsel also known as Ayestí is an American Pop/Hip-Hop Artist and founder/CEO of Hussla LLC.
Ayestí was born in Lima, Ohio but was raised in Colombus, Ohio. His musical influences are very diverse; rapper Lil Wayne and Pop Punk Bands like All Time Low and Panic! At The Disco are just a few of the musical acts he credits for his interest in making music.
Education
Ayestí graduated from Westerville Central High School in 2018. He would graduate with a 4.1 GPA and is currently enrolled at Columbus State Community College pursuing a double major in exercise science and Finance respectively.
Career
Started rap career under the name “4G” for the initials of my name being ATT. Only released on SoundCloud using an iPhone and GarageBand. Girlfriend purchased my first interface and studio equipment and decided to get a little more serious. First project was called MTMF, message to my fans. I realized the quality was not as good as I wanted it to be and enrolled in Mixxin Academy to learn mixing and mastering concepts. Changed my name to Ayestí (A-Yes-T) as it was more unique and wanted to rebrand. Had to learn marketing and Facebook advertising myself. Mastered facebook ads. Released my best single “Fiji Truth” in June 2021 as first song debut under the new name. Went on to chart #1 on iTunes South Africa and finish the day at #14 on the iTunes Charts. Featured on “Lyrical Lemonade” and Thisis50, ELEVATOR. and other sources like yours. Also featured on Reprezent Radio 107.3 FM and CBN-Radio 90.9 FM.
Created Hussla as an all in one consulting/marketing agency for artists to do similar things. Collaborations with popular artists ChrispyD and Jxve, and local artists B!G DOR and Wa-Hid.
