Attack is a fictional character and third-party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Thrust created by iGear in 2011.

Attack is a third-party Transformers homage to the 1985 Generation 1 Decepticon Thrust created by iGear.

Attack is the third release of the iGear Fighter Team set.

According to his tech specs Attack is very strong, fast and has impressive firepower. He has a little less courage than average.

Other third-party Transformer homages to Thrust include Impossible Toys Boostor.

Development

Attack was previewed at the Third Party Panel at TFcon 2011.[1]

Jet, Elergy and Attack were featured at the TFcon 2011 third-party panel.[2]

Attack was released in July 2011.

Reprolabels released a set of labels for Attack.

In July 2013 iGear opened preorders for a new production run of the original Attack, Elegy and Jet. They stated that if there were enough preorders in 60 days they would produce the jets, if not they would refund the preorders.[3]

Reception

iGear comics

Attack appears in the comic story included with Jet. With the war over, Jet and Attack are flying over the desert when they see some Earth natives. Jet approaches the humans and asks if they want his autograph.

Attack is featured in the comic that comes with Elegy. In the story Elegy and Attack find a cave with energy crystals and plan to use it to take over, but then are scared away by a monster.

A third-party Transformer mold created by iGear, remolded from Masterpiece Starscream. Turns from robot to jet. Comes with labels, a comic and a collector card. The last page of the comic features a notice of the upcoming Presser figure.
  • Reprolabels Masterpiece Coneheads (2011)
A set of labels intended to make Attack look more like Generaton 1 Thrust, including Decepticon faction symbols.[4]
