Antara Das
Antara Das is a young author, entrepreneur, and a human rights activist. She is the co-founder of the NGO For Men India (www.formenindia.in) and the COO of DG Studios (www.dgstudios.in) She has done her graduation and post-graduation in Commerce. Antara had always wanted to serve the mankind and therefore she came up with For Men India, which an organisation that spreads awareness about men's rights, issues and gender equality in the society.
EARLY LIFE
Antara Das was born and raised in Assam. She grew up in Bongaigaon, a small and beautiful town in Assam and later shifted with her family to Guwahati. She was born in the year 1993. She became an author at the age of 24 and went up to become an entrepreneur at the age of 26.
BIOGRAPHY
Antara Das was born on 9th December, 1993 in a Bengali Hindu family. Her father Lt. Ranendra Mohan Das was a Govt. employee , who worked with the PSU Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Her mother Sapana Das is a homemaker and her younger brother is a Mechanical Engineer. Antara is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at a college and along with that, she is continuing with her social work in the field of Gender Equality. She basically speaks and spreads awareness about men's rights and issues which are rarely addressed in our country. She is unbelievably touching the lives of many people with her work and aims to bring gender neutral laws in India. She is also the recipient of two awards for her book A Secret Deal, The Indian Awaz 100 Inspiring Authors of India, 2018 and NE8x Author of the Year, 2019.
ACHIEVEMENT
Antara is the co-founder of two organisations namely DG Studios, which is an IT and film & Animation company , and For Men India which is an NGO. She is also the recipient of two awards for her book A Secret Deal, The Indian Awaz 100 Inspiring Authors of India, 2018 and NE8x Author of the Year, 2019. She has the dream of helping to change the life of thousands in her process and her story of being a fighter and and achieving milestone despite of hardships would be always etched in the history of time.
