Ana-Marija Stojic is a comedian, writer, and actor from Toronto, Canada.[1][2]

Early Life

Ana-Marija Stojic grew up in the major city of Toronto after being born in a little town in Croatia. while she had some epic failures in her early career[3], she became interested in comedy after a friend gave her a CD of George Carlin's audio recording, which she listened to over and again on her home computer in the basement.[1]

Career

Ana-Marija Stojic, originally from Yugoslavia, currently does stand-up comedy all over Toronto. She performs at The Corner Comedy Club and the ALTdot Comedy Lounge on a regular basis.[4][5][6][7]

Zach Broussard, a stand-up comedian, published "The Top 1,000 Comedians" on his Tumblr blog in 2014 and Stojic was listed among them.[8]

She was a semi-finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2017 and a finalist in Sirius XM's Top Comic Competition in 2017.[9]

Stefan, her original screenplay, was selected as a Finalist at the Big Apple Film Festival Agents and Managers Lab 2021 and the Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition 2020, the quarter-finals of the 6th Annual TV Writing Contest in 2021, the Scriptation Showcase quarter-finals 2021, and the Creative Screenwriting Competition quarter-finals 2021.[10]
