Alpha Traon went up for preorder online in January 2012.[3]

Reception

The Radio Free Cybertron podcast for January 25th, 2012 discussed Alpha Traon as part of their Third Party Roundup.[5]

Alpha Traon was featured in the 2013 toy reference book Transforming Collections by Philip Reed.[6]

Fictional biography

Alpha Traon is one of the original 13 Op's, thus all his portrayals are considered to be the same individual. He is generally depicted as an ancient mechanoid with a link to the great Vector Segma. Once known as A-3, he spearheaded the rebellion against the Quints, turning their 'slave brand' into a symbol of freedom. After he deactivated the Quints Dark Guardians and turned the tide of the war, the Quints were forced off the planet. And an age of peace began.
