A Z M Mainul Islam (Birth: 31 December 1984) is a Bangladeshi journalist and writer, who is currently serving as the editor of Crime Protidin newspaper.

A Z M Mainul Islam was born on 31 December 1984 in Chandpur. His father's name is Md. Nurul Islam and mother's name is Monowara Begum. He is the eldest among three brothers. Did his childhood studies in Chandpur.

A Z M Mainul Islam has graduated from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at Rajshahi University.
