Born in 1980 in Hai Phong, Vietnam, Trần Thanh Phương, know as Alex Phuong Tran, exhibited a passion for entrepreneurship from a young age, starting his first business—a book rental stall—at just 12 years old. His early life was marked by a variety of jobs which included selling vegetables and working in sales.

Phương's professional journey began in 2002 at the Commercial Department of Petro Vietnam's PTSC M&C. He then transitioned to the beverage industry, holding managerial positions at major corporations such as Coca-Cola and Heineken. In 2015, he founded ExtendMax Vietnam Company Limited, a consultancy providing regulatory compliance services and market access consulting for IT products.
