According to the Afghanistan Freedom Watch an American patrol was tasked to apprehend a Taliban leader named Abdul Haq on April 1, 2008.[1] Abdul Haq was killed in combat.
During the operation an alleged subordinate named Hajji Abdullah was captured, at his home, which contained a weapons cache.[1]
