Transformers: Descent Into Oblivion
Transformers: Descent Into Oblivion is an ongoing fanfiction by Mercatorprojection on TFW2005. It follows the plot scheme of several preexisting universes, as well as it own.
Plot
The story begins when a young mech, Rhinox, awaking from stasis. His creator, Fractyl, is killed seconds later. Rhinox is forced to run, leaving his creator on the ground, and eventually runs into an Elite Guard soldier. the soldier give him a GPS, and his adventure begins.
Rhinox then ventures threw the fortress, and is attacked by several Renegade decepticons along the way.Later he finds an archive, and is equipped with weapons. Soon after, the same enemies from before, revealed to be Star Seekers, come back to claim their prize. After a brief fight, Rhinox is incapacitated.
By the time he came to, the acquaintance from earlier, revealed to be Countdown, was thrown in the jail cell he was in. The ruler of the sector, Starscream, speaks to them, recognizing Countdown from the early days of the Cybertronian War. He then throws them both into a tournament, where they face several other renegades and captured Elite Guard soldiers. they later face the Driller, a worm-like monster created my the Starseeker, Shockwave. Upon its defeat, the Guest ruler, Overlord, comes to know that Rhinox is actually a Maximal, a race that is rejected by Cybertronians. He is withdrawn from the tournament, and for defeating the Driller, is admitted to the general populace.
Meanwhile, on earth, a mysterious being, known as Sideways, crash lands in a Mad Max like civilization, located in Death valley. He meets Jason, a nineteen year old youth, training to be a tech specialist for his father, a combat vehicle driver. His father, Rook, is killed in an accident hours later.
