Darshan Babu is an Singer, Writer and Lyricist. Darshan Babu (born 20 Feb 1990) is an Indian Punjabi folk Singer, Dalit music, rap and hip-hop singer hailing from [(Sirsa, Haryana)] . He was born in Sirsa, Haryana, India to his father Om Prakash, mother Maya Devi Ji. He became famous with his songs Fan Bhim De (Zindabaad) and Kehar (Haryanvi DJ Song ) that went viral on social media.. [1] [2]

Darshan Babu was born to Om Praksh and Maya Devi in Sirsa, [Haryana] His original name is Darshan Kumar. Darshan’s family belongs to the Ravidassia faith, that believes in the oneness of God. The family belongs to the Chamar Ravidassia community. Darshan Babu original name is Darshan Kumar.

Career
Darshan started singing devotional songs belonging to the Ravidassia community. His first two songs, Guraan di Jot and Zindabaad (Fan Bhim De were devotional hymns. However, it was an ode to Babasaheb Ambedkar that got his fame. One of his first songs was 'Zindabaad', which was a tribute to Ambedkar, the architect of Indian constitution.This song went viral on YouTube. Darshan calls Babasaheb Ambedkar his inspiration and often writes songs about social oppression that people face owing to caste. To make sure his songs don't offend anyone, the lyrics of his songs are analyzed by a team consisting of his , Recently he focused himself on the music industry and become a verified artist on Youtube, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer, Apple Music, Sound Cloud and so many other platforms. He released his first music video named "I Still Remember You" and his first Record label named "Darshan Babu" which contains five pieces of music.
