Nadia Najjari (born July 28, 1971) is a German-Moroccan painter and reproductive medicine consultant[1][2] specializing in infertility diseases and IVF.[3] She is a Consultant IVF at Health Plus Fertility Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Early Life and Education

Najjari was born to Omar Najjari and Fatima Ait cheikh Abbou in Marrakech, Morocco.[4] She grew up in the Red City and moved to Germany at 19.[2]

Najjari attended Grammar School in Marrakesh, Morocco (1977-1989) and completed a bachelor's degree at Ibn Abbad High School. She pursued Biology-Geology at Marrakesch University (1989-1990) and Medicine Studies at Universität Regensburg & Aachen (1990-1999).[2] From 1998-1999, Najjari studied Gynaecology at Luisenhospital, Aachen, Surgery at the University of Montréal, Canada, and cardiology at the University of René Descartes, Paris.[5]

In 2001, she obtained Ph.D. from RWTH Aachen University, Germany[5] and further completed her specialization at the University of Dusseldorf in 2007. She was the Resident in the Gynecological Obstetrical Department at Evangelischen Kliniken Gelsenkirchen (February-December 2001), Cura-Kurakenhauses Bad Honnef (2002-2003), Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Bonn Haus St. Elizabeth (2004-2006), and Universitätsfrauenklinik Bonn (2006-2007).

In 2017, Najjari went for Diploma in Acupuncture (TCM) in Grafing, Munich, Germany. In July 2020, she received Embryology Certificate from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and, in March 2021, a Certificate of Achievement in Fundamentals - Genetics from Harvard Medical School.[5] She also completed training as a Prenatal Yoga Teacher. She is also certified in GSAAM (German society of anti-aging medicine) since July 2022.

Career

Artist

Najjari is an artist focused on abstract painting. She has showcased and organized several art exhibitions in Germany, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates.[2][5] In 2015, she had her debut exhibition in collaboration with the Embassy of Morocco at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Reem Island. In 2016, she showcased her work in The Voice of Art exhibition at the La Parole Art Gallery.[6]

In 2019, Najjari became a registered RYT ®500 Yoga Teacher and a Resilience Coach of Stress Management in October 2020.[5]

Medical Professional

Najjari has more than 21 years of experience in Gynaecology/obstetrics with a focus on Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, specializing in IVF segmentation to improve implantation and success, focusing on recurrent implantation failure, recurrent miscarriage, and fertility preservation before cytotoxic therapy, endometriosis, hormonal imbalances, and genetic disorders.[5] She introduced psychological and physical treatments for infertility and delayed childbearing diseases using unconventional methods in Abu Dhabi.[3]

Her work experience in IVF amounts to over 15 years of practice as a board-certified gynecologist, obstetrician, and subspecialist in gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine in Germany, including many years at the University of Bonn, as Deputy Director and IVF Consultant[7] at Kinderwunschpraxis Offenbach, Germany, and in the UAE.[5]

She worked as a Specialist in gynecological, endocrinology, and reproductive medicine at Universitätsfrauenklinik Bonn (2006-2011) and Dr. Konstantin Manolopoulos Kinderwunschzentrum Offenbach (2011-2013). Najjari established her private practice before relocating to the United Arab Emirates in 2013[7] after receiving a job offer,[8] where she started serving as IVF Specialist at Health Plus Fertility Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE, until 2015. Since April 2021, she has been a Consultant IVF at Health Plus Fertility Center.[9][5]

Najjari was a Specialist (2015-2018) and Consultant (April 2017-June 2018) at Fakih IVF Center, Abu Dhabi, UAE. From 2018-2021, she was the Head of the Department and IVF Consultant at Burjeel Hospital, IVF Department in Abu Dhabi, UAE,[3][10] specialized in fertilization and assisted reproduction techniques, highlighted that resorting to yoga, Acupuncture, and dialogue and relaxation sessions for the benefit of patients gave excellent results.[2]

She is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the German Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the German Society of Ultrasound and Medicine, the German Menopause Society, the German Society of Anti-Aging-Medicine,[5] and International Society for fertility preservation (ISFP).

She is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Infertility/IVF and Embryology, working for DOH (Department Of Health) since 2018.

Najjari was a panelist in the Gulf News webinar on infertility and high-risk pregnancies[10] and attended the 8th Annual UAE Reproductive Symposium.[11]

Political Opinion

Najjari practiced political work in Germany after joining a party that defended the integration of immigrants into society, spreading the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence between different races, religions, and cultures.[2]

Personal Life

Najjari is married with three children, Lina, Nora, and Sami, and resides in the United Arab Emirates.[2]
