Chandpur is a district of Chittagong division of Bangladesh. Which is located on the banks of Meghna river near the confluence of Padma and Meghna rivers. Chandpur city has a total area of 26.82 square kilometers and a total population of 171,065. Chandpur is the 22nd largest city in Bangladesh by population. Chandpur is called as 'Home of Hilsa' all over the country because Hilsa fish of Chandpur is delicious. [1]
