James Anthony Gamet (August 22, 1987) is a high performance Business Coach, award-winning entrepreneur, and Speaker. He founded "Inches Make Miles" in Portland, Oregon, United States. Gamet’s agency is known to have helped many struggling companies on the brink of collapse to turn their fortunes around and reach new levels of success, as he did for real estate agents during the pandemic. Through his role at ENG2 as Senior Consultant and Executive Director for Public Relations, he works 1-1 with clients, leads group coaching sessions, is the head of Public Relations, and sets clients up for success by helping them set up the best social media, branding and marketing strategies.

James Gamet Endured Several Hardships And Now Leads With Passion And Purpose

Despite coming from an impoverished upbringing in central Washington, Gamet served in the US Marines for 8 years, conducting 3 deployments and recruiting duty, before getting medically retired . He found his saving grace in martial arts, coaching at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Portland and Bang Muay Thai Portland and working with fighters from top organizations such as UFC, Bellator, and One Championship.

After working with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Census Bureau, he found his footing in digital marketing through the help of a Marine colleague named Johnny Vo, who demonstrated that the "laptop lifestyle" was achievable. Vo influenced him to take a risk in his professional life. "I knew someone who was killing it at digital marketing and showed me that a laptop lifestyle was achievable," Gamet adds.

It was challenging for Gamet when he started his career in the digital world. He was in $70,000 worth of debt, however it was his belief in Winston Churchill's quote, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts." that kept him going. "I was able to come back and focus on my true passion of helping others by doing what I'm best at, which is coaching and solving problems," he shares.

Gamet has always been extremely passionate about coaching, and has been a coach in different industries his entire life. Due to his expertize, experience, and life lesson, he ha been able to master the art of teaching and has designed a course that provides everything a marketer, agent, or brokerage needs to create a 6+ figure business.

Gamet says, “My true passion is helping others, and I love coaching and solving problems. I try my best to lead by example. I teach jiu-jitsu, practice, and train hard, the same with Muay Thai. I bring the same energy to business and solving problems. I do everything I can to make myself available to anyone on my team. I am also blessed with kind people who have supported me and guided me well.”

The entrepreneur is also actively involved in philanthropy. He has touched multiple lives through VASAYO by assisting the non-profit organization “Hearts and Hands for Humanity”. He also provides food and gift packages to the homeless in his locality. His team has even worked with a Police Advocacy League (PAL) program. Gamet also runs an Adult Care Home for Developmentally disabled personnel.

He plans to position his firm to become industry leaders that provide a premium service, at prices anyone can afford. He wants to leave an impact on this world and help as many people as possible. The next evolution is for James to create or partner with a charity to give back on a larger scale.

Personal life

In his personal life, James is a devoted husband to his wife Rene Gamet and father of 2 children. They share a strong bond and a commitment to making a difference in the world. Together, they work to create a fulfilling and meaningful life for themselves and those around them.

James is also a martial arts instructor, who has worked with the highest level athletes in mix martial arts. He is the owner of Bang Muay Thai Portland and a black belt jiu jitsu instructor at 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu. He has spent over 10 years coaching high-performance athletes and teaching others about the benefits of physical fitness and wellness.

In addition to his professional pursuits, James is also deeply committed to giving back to his community. He volunteers with multiple veterans' organizations and works to support those who have served our country. His mission is to impact as many people as possible and see them live fulfilling lives. .
