He is recognized as one of the Gen Z internet marketing gurus who pioneered digital marketing concepts and became a millionaire when he was only 19. JetSet specializes in creating NLP training programs and has worked closely with several Internet personalities.[1]

Born in Orange, California, JetSet is a college drop-out and owns many e-commerce and software businesses. In 2022, he launched the NFT, Paper Boyz by NFTMagazine. He is often seen at conferences and industry events on internet marketing, NFT, neuro-marketing, and entrepreneurship. With his vision to provide authentic NFT news, JetSet has put NFTMagazine.com at the forefront of the NFT news industry.[2]

In 2017, he was named one of the Top Influencive Business Influencers. By 2021, JetSet has brought well over $10 million in sales and 100,000 leads as an NFT consultant to his clients.

Early Life and Education

JetSet was born as Josh King Madrid on March 8th, 1998, in Orange, California. He spent the first few years of his life raised in Ohio, where his father built a $7 million e-commerce drop-shipping business selling health products and air ionizers while attending Ohio State Medical School. Years later, the dot-com bubble crashed, and the e-commerce company went out of business. JetSet moved to Whittier, CA, after his dad got a job at a local hospital.

His mother was a stay-at-home mom raising JetSet and his siblings while attending law school and helping build their second e-commerce business Ehealthsupplies.com. He used to help his mother fulfill orders and package products so she could ship them out to customers for e-health supplies. The e-commerce company lasted for four years and managed to generate $300,000 to $600,000 a year in sales before his parents decided to close it down due to the low-profit margins caused by trying to stay competitive with their pricing in the marketplace.[3]

In kindergarten, he would create paper-folded wallets, draw different animals on them, and sell them to classmates. He started his first business when he was seven years old by buying beanies from Alibaba with a loan his father gave him and then selling them to his second-grade classmates. he continued to buy products such as iPod cases, silver or gold chains, snapback hats, shutter shades, and custom-printed clothing at wholesale prices from overseas and sell them at school, on eBay, and then on Facebook, leveraging viral growth hacks he has learned in high school.

By the time he was 15, he had saved up to $14,000 to buy a Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T, which he would modify and drive at car rallies and car shows he hosted and attended. He studied at Vista Murrieta High School during his freshman year, where he played basketball and competed in the triple jump and long jump on the track and field team. He transferred to Paloma Valley High School in Menifee during his sophomore year, where he would continue competing in those sports for the rest of his high school years and eventually become one of the top triple jumpers in California during his Junior year. He received offers to compete in track and field from many top schools but decided to quit competing entirely to pursue his first sales and marketing business.[4]

Career

He is the founder of NFTMagazine.com, an internet entrepreneur, certified NLP trainer, neuro-marketer, speaker, and social media influencer, best known as one of the early Gen Z internet marketing industry pioneers. He started several businesses while in college in 2016, later dropping out and becoming a millionaire in 2017. JetSet has collaborated with several influential Internet personalities and attended business conferences.[5][6]

As a marketing consultant, he has brought well over $10 million in sales to his NFT clients.[7]

Personal Life

JetSet is a college dropout. He can often be seen traveling with large groups of friends and numerous models through his social media. He is the owner of Paper Boyz by NFTMagazine and multiple e-commerce and software businesses. He went on to become a Certified NLP Expert Trainer.
