Damarea Leah Ogbuewu born of August 8, 2005, in Columbia, South Carolina is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, poet, and creative writer who served as the first African-American and only American as a member of China's Artist Association. She began her writing career after she won a writing and literary arts event in Beijing, China in December of 2021. She succeeded Chinese author, Ying Chang Compestine as a representative of China's Artist Association.

Raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Ogbuewu is a graduate and culture student. In her early career she began writing poetry and stories reflecting her culture and life as a Nigerian-American. She attended Dutch Fork High School in 2019 later attending Dreher High School before winning the 2021 All Round Chinese competition.
