Shadow Scythe is a third party Transformers set intended to be an add-on for the Classic Rodimus mold, and colored to match Shattered Glass Rodimus.
Development
FansProject this product as "Shadow Scyther" in September of 2010.[1]
Although FansProject Core claims Shadow Scythe came out in December of 2010, it didn't start to get delivered until January of 2011.
Reception
The WTF@TFW podcast for September 9th, 2010 selected a picture of Shadow Scythe as one of the New Picture Picks.[2]
FansProject comics
The comic book for Shadow Scythe is reads back to front, and starts out as the same comic story that came with Protector, but ends differently.
