The Workaholics Yin and Yang are third-party Transformers who turn into microcasettes and batteries. Yin is the mostly purple one, while Yang is the mostly green one. They are original characters, but their forms are homages to the Microchange and Transformers microcassette toys. Their colors are homages to the Generation 1 Constructicons.
Yin and Yang are the third set of BTW-05 microcassettes.
Development
In November 2011 BTS Toys announced Tremor and Frequency, and mentioned there would be recolors in the colors of the Constructicons.[1]
BTS displayed prototype images of the toy molds in December 2011.[2]
In April 2012 TFsource and Big Bad Toy Store announced Yin and Yang were a shared exclusive, and posted pictures of the toys to the internet.[3]
