Sawtooth (Starriors)
Sawtooth is a fictional character from the Starriors series in 1984. He is an evil member of the Destructors and has a buzzsaw in his chest.

Starriors
Sawtooth is a Destructor Wastor equipped with a buzzsaw. His right hand is a claw and his left hand is a laser.
Destructors are programmed to destroy mutants and invading aliens. Wastors are a humanoid series of Starrior, roughly the same height as an adult human, though somewhat bulkier.
Sawtooth is depicted riding Twinhorn on the Stalkor's box art.
Note: The Starriors series is considered a parallel universe in the Transformers series. In the Transformers universe there are several characters named Sawtooth.[1]

Books
Sawtooth was a character in the book and audio story Starriors Tunnel of Doom Odyssey I by Peter Pan. Sawtooth was left out of the group picture of the cast on the back of the book, but Cut-Up is mislabeled as Sawtooth.

Limited series
Sawtooth was a major character in the Starriors limited series by Marvel Comics.
In Starriors issue 1, "Discovery", Sawtooth asks for Hotshot to be given mercy when the Protector is put on trial by the Destructors.
In Starriors issue 4, "Quest's End", Auntie Tank and Sawtooth join the Protectors in defending man from the Destructors.
Commercials
Sawtooth appeared in a 1984 Starriors commercial. In the animated segment he battles Crank. In the live action segment Crank and Cut-Up get Sawtooth to surrender.[2]

- Sawtooth is made up of 6 parts that assemble into different configurations. The arms and legs are attached to the body with 5mm pegs and holes, while the head is attached to the body with a 3mm peg and hole.
- Sawtooth came with one of the first four Starriors pack-in comics.
- This toy shares it's mold with Starriors Cut-Up.
