Matthew Forrest, also known as Matt Forrest, was born on July 2, 1968, in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, to Patricia Ann Forrest and John Forrest. His upbringing was profoundly influenced by his mother's creativity and his father's logical and scientific background. Additionally, his grandmother's cousin, Sir Martin Furnival Jones, held a significant post in MI5, shaping Matt's understanding of societal issues. Education
Matt attended Staining C of E School, where he showed an early interest in mathematics and computing. He was among the first to adopt home computers, owning a Sinclair ZX80. Excelling academically, he achieved 8 GCSEs and 3 A Levels, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors in the financial services market. He later pursued studies in mathematical sciences and mathematics and completed multiple vocational examinations.
Career
