Development

Impossible Toys posted a painted prototype picture of Arbilus on the internet in October 2008.[1]

Arbilus went up for preorder online in January 2012.[2]

Arbilus was displayed at TFcon 2012.[3]

Reception

The Radio Free Cybertron podcast for January 25th, 2012 discussed Arbilus as part of their Third Party Roundup.[4]

Arbilus was featured in the 2013 toy reference book Transforming Collections by Philip Reed.[5]

Fictional biography

Arbilus was a scientist from the planet Lithion. It is said he is an immigrant from the planet Cybatron and fled during the Great War with other inhabitants to find refuge on Lithion. His duties were to assist Kranax in scientific studies on how to terraform Lithion to be a more robot friendly environment. All that changed when Lithion was destroyed by a giant planet eating terror. After barely surviving by the paint on his resistors he now drifts through space seeking a new planet to call home.
