Yeshi Lhendup (born 1992) is a Bhutanese filmmaker who is the founder of Yeshi Lhendup Films.[1][2]

Career

Born in 1992, Yeshi is from Mongar Dzongkhag, Bhutan. He was educated at the Sherubtshe College where he graduated in environmental science and economics in 2015.[3][4]

His debut film was a short film, Nga Gawi Bum which he directed in college days.[4]

After graduating from College, Yeshi preferred to start his own business.[5] Initially he faced difficulties, but somehow managed to get a loan from private lender, Loden Foundation.[3][5] He bought equipment using the loan and set up a small office.[5]

In 2017, Yeshi's production, La Nye Ngam, became a hit which helped him to scale up the business.[5]

In May 2021, his YouTube channel received a Silver Play Button.[6]
