Welcome one and all

Welcome to my talk page. Everybody is welcome to leave a message for me here. Web (talk) 10:55, 18 July 2011 (MSD)

Hi

Thanks for the attribs / templates, appreciated :) Govind (talk) 18:34, 24 August 2011 (MSD)

You're welcome. Actually, I just wanted the TV infobox, but it was dependant on a bunch of other templates so I needed to recreate them. Just a bunch of cut/paste from Wikipedia to be honest. I'm happy to help were I can. It's really you and Richard that have done all the work getting this place running and offering it to people out of sheer good will. You two (and Mathew) are the ones that need to be thanked. Web (talk) 06:21, 25 August 2011 (MSD)

Template troubles

I'm trying to get Template:Episode list to work properly, but it's proving to be an impossible task for me. An example is at User:Web/sandbox, which should look like Wikipedia:List of Inner Sanctum episodes. I'm unable to determine why the formatting is off. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. OK the main issue is with templatology using en:WP templates is that templates recursively call other templates. It will take a few days to sort this universally, but the basic solution is to bring across from WP the pages on Special:WantedTemplates.
The other aspect is css. While I am currently ignorant of css, having forgotten all I knew about it, the style settings for such as infoboxes are in places like common.css. Rich Farmbrough (talk)
Thanks very much for the help, Rich. I'm guessing common.css as in MediaWiki:Common.css rather than User:Web/Common.css. I'll start copying over the templates. Thanks again. Web (talk) 07:11, 5 June 2012 (MSD)

Copyright

Until the copyright issues are addressed there's not a lot I can do. I think this is supposed to be addressed by the convo. at the community portal, but id does need to be actually done. Rich Farmbrough (talk)

Hi Rich. Thanks for the heads up. Do you mean changing the footer that says "Content is available under Public Domain"? I think we've been using Template:Wp-cca to try and comply with the requirements. I'm guessing the text is in something like MediaWiki:Sidebar but for the footer. I'm not exactly sure where it's at.
