Comics

Marvel Comics

The original Rotorbolt was a generic Transformer in the Marvel Comics who was killed along with Telus by the Decepticon Ferak.

Transformers: Universe

Rotorbolt was built to be a stealth helicopter, but due to a flaw in his design his stealth systems only function in vehicle mode. When flying in robot mode he makes so much noise he can barely hear and no one can understand a word he says, a flaw the proud warrior refuses to apologize for.

Comics

3H Enterprises

Rotorbolt was a Predacon whose spark was used by Megatron in an attempt to create a new Vehicon general. Something went wrong in the process and Rotorbolt was left with complete free will and no loyalty to Megatron. In "Departure", teaming up with Cyclonus and Skywarp, who were also in new Vehicon bodies, the three were recruited into the Wreckers in opposing Megatron and are sent on missions by the Oracle. [1]

Fun Publications

Rotorbolt appeared in the story Wreckers: Finale Part 2 by the Transformers Collectors Club in 2007. During the invasion of Cybertron Cyclonus and Rodimus came to final blows, fighting each other to a stand-still. Both severely wounded, Cyclonus was about to kill Rodimus when the Rotorbolt arrived and killed Cyclonus for betraying him.[2]
