Nightglider is a Maximal intelligence officer from the Transformers Beast Wars series who turns into a robotic flying squirrel.

Beast Wars

Nightglider was one of a number of characters not to be featured in the Beast Wars animated series, but rather in the toy line as one of the Transmetal 2 figures, and later appeared in comic stories.

Fictional biography

Nightglider is the most skillful Maximal spy. A creature of the night, he operates best alone. Can virtually escape detection- emits an electromagnet cloaking field, is soundless in flight, disappears in subdued light or shadow. Electro-disruptor can cast illusions, altering his physical placement and appearance for up to 10 minutes. Devoted to the Maximal cause; despises Predacons. Wields serrated energon sword.

Comics

Nightglider is one of a number of Maximals born from the protoforms released by the Axalon at the start of the animated series and later activated during Beast Wars: The Gathering by IDW Publishing.
