Meridian Tech d.o.o, meridianbet.rs or Meridian corresponds to a trademark referring to the limited liability company Meridian Tech Ltd, retail and online betting and gaming operator founded in 2001 with headquarters in Belgrade, Serbia. This legal entity is also the part of Meridian Gaming group, active in 30+ jurisdictions worldwide as a well-established sports betting and gaming operator. The Serbian – based Company employs over 1000 people.
The entity is established pursuant to the applicable law of the Republic of Serbia and is licensed by country’s Games of Chance Administration [1] (licenced for retail sports betting, online sports betting, prize games and operating gaming machines). [2]

In the Republic of Serbia, under the circumstances of Covid-19 pandemics, Meridian Tech has so far supported the following medical institutions: Clinic for Infectious Diseases, Medial centre "Dr Milorad Mika Pavlović" in Indjija, Institute for Mother and Child Healthcare, Clinical Hospital Centre “Dragisa Misovic”, Nis Hospital, BELhospice and other health and social care institutions.
Due to the fight against the pandemic, the Company has not forgotten the youngest citizens fighting other dangerous diseases. Thus, the company Meridian recently organized a humanitarian tournament in three-point shooting, with the participation of best domestic basketball players. Thanks to them, 2 million dinars were collected for the urgent treatment of Sofija Markuljević abroad, a girl who suffers from a rare and dangerous disease - spinal muscular atrophy type I. [11]
Serbian gambling market: market and regulatory overview
According to the Games of Chance Administration, sports betting is the most popular form of gambling, followed by slot machines.
In the Republic of Serbia, gambling activities are regulated by the Law on Games of Chance 2020 and other subordinate legislation setting out the full regulatory regime relating to betting and gaming.
