Growing up in various cities such as Mooresville North Carolina, Knoxville Tennessee, and Milwaukee Wisconsin, he has always enjoyed Artist development, songwriting, music composition, music production, piano techniques, and overall music architecture.

Marcus Churchboi Askew is a super-producing powerhouse and TV/film composer. In the fall of 2009, He entered the industry as a session musician to Grammy Award-winning writers and producers. This led to working with artists such as Yung Joc, Day 26, Elle Varner, Jon B, Marsha Ambrosia, and Kehlani, to name a few. Also ghost-producing on two Grammy-nominated albums.

Marcus Askew also teamed up with the super production team (Urban Rockstarz). Through that collaboration, He took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles, California, where they garnered over 150 TV/film placements with major networks VH1, BET, MTV, and even the theme song to the hit TV show R&B Divas LA.
