Humberly González is a Canadian actress, born in Venezuala.[1][2]

Early life

González was born in Venezuala in 1992, and spent her childhood and part of her teenage years there.[2] She graduated from high school in Canada, and attended the National Theatre School.

Career

González has appeared in several television shows, including Nurses, Jupiter's Legacy, Debris, Ginny & Georgia, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Private Eyes, In the Dark, Utopia Falls, Hudson & Rex, Blink Twice, Workin' Moms, Guilt Free Zone, The Detail, Saving Hope, Orphan Black, Shadowhunters and Women Are from Mars.[3]

Humberly attended the prestigious Canadian Film Centre in 2017.[4]

In 2020 González was chosen to be the new spokesperson for Philadelphia Cream Cheese.[3] Her predecessor, Linda Kash, held that position since 1994, almost three decades.

González plays a gay character in Ginny & Georgia, and was interviewed about it for the Girl on girl podcast.[5] In that interview she spoke about having a crush on her best friend, while growing up, and her opinions on the representation of gay Latinas, in film and television.
