Hasan Hamid is a Bangladeshi author, poet and columnist.

Early life and education
Hamid was born on 24 October, 1988 in Abidnagar, Sunamganj District, Bangladesh. His father, Abdul Hamid, was a school teacher and his mother Mansura Khanam is a homemaker. He studied at Tahirpur Government High School, Sylhet Murari Chand College and Dhaka University.[1]
Works
He is best know for his poem ‘Bangabandhu’[2][3] and his novel Chehel Setun.[4][5][6][7] His most recent book is 'Dagal', published in 2021, is about the liberation war.[8][9]
Hamid is a frequent newspaper contributor in Bangladesh[10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18] and also in USA, Philippines, India and Belgium.[19][20][21][22][23][24] He writes regularly about education issues. Hamid is becoming popular among the readers by writing in simple language, about the various personal and social problems of the people, which are related to the national problems.
