Casey Reid (born 5 August 1997) is a Jamaican professional footballer.[1]

Playing Career

Reid began his career in England with Curzon Ashton fc before moving on to professional side Rochdale AFC in 2012 and later moving to Morecambe FC. After spending majority of his youth career in England, he moved to the United States in 2018 to sign for San Jose earthquakes un23 team, Reid featured in the u23 team before signing for American USL side Reno 1868.[2][3][1]

International Career

  • Reid received his first international call up in May 2017 for a senior men’s training camp in preparation for the 2017 Gold cup.[3][1]
  • Having received his first international selection at 19 years, 11 months old. Reid is the youngest ever overseas player ever to receive an international call up to the Jamaica men’s National team.[4][3]
  • Reid has since been selected 5 times for the Jamaican senior men’s squad.[3]
  • Having an impressive 2019 season Reid was selected for the Olympic qualifiers.[4][3]

Personal Life

Casey Reid was born in Manchester Ashton under line. Reid is both a British National and Jamaica National.[1]
