Impossible Toys

Bump is third-party Transformer character created by Impossible Toys as an homage to the Transformers character Bumper.

Other third-party Transformer homages to Bumper include the MGS-01B.

He is unrelated to the Beast Wars Neo character called Bump.

Development

Impossible Toys announced the Mini Charger line on their web site in July 2013.[1] Preorders for the individual toys web up a few days later on TFsource.[2]

Bump was released in February 2014.

Reception

The moonbase2 podcast for July 15th, 2013 discussed the Micro Chargers in the news. The hosts thought they were cute.[3]

Fictional biography

Bump is a young and inexperienced Autobot, new to the war, but eager to do his part against his enemies. He is in the interesting position of looking up to Bumble Bug, which makes Bumble Bug feel more awkward than normal. Bump may not have much of a history so far, but his determination and flashes of courage and brilliance may take him far.
