Ashli Babbitt is a Californian veteran of the United States Air Force who had served fourteen years over four tours.[1] She was shot in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday January 6th, 2021 and died later that day.

Ashli was a business owner in San Diego who was a supporter of Donald Trump.[2]

She was shot while inside the United States Capitol building during the 2021 United States Capitol protests.[3]

The Metro PD investigated the death.[4]

It is unclear who pulled the trigger on the gun which killed her.[5]
